Against a backdrop of international tensions, Quebec was shaken by its own tremors: there was the gradual lifting of health restrictions, accelerated by the truckers' movement , then in the fall a general election preceded by accusations and grand promises ...
In the business world, the question of whether to return to work in person or not, or even in hybrid mode, had to be resolved.
We also talked about great things: diversity and inclusion , green and sustainable solutions, ecological transition and virtual technologies.
The issue of the French language and immigration was raised again as a response to the growing labour shortage.
As the year draws to a close, inflation is a cause for concern, with falling purchasing power and the spectre of recession.
