Ideas to sell

“I’m always full of ideas,” Maxime says enthusiastically. “It’s almost become a drug to overcome challenges, especially now, because I know more about them and I succeed every time!” Maxime has a hell of a morale, an indestructible mindset of a serial entrepreneur that nothing seems to be able to stop. “Believe in your dreams, nothing is impossible.” He has the sacred fire.

The man who founded Gestion immobilière Maxime Rondeau and Chalets Spa nordique has just sold Supday location and launched UFloat Nets . He also set up the first private resort in Quebec and is preparing a business plan to create another one on his 51-foot catamaran with cabins for rent starting in 2024!

“You have to give people ideas, that’s often what they’re lacking. So I show them what they could do. That’s how the rental cottage project was born, as a selling point to make the land attractive.” Maxime never stops improving one project with another that’s simmering. It’s as if his cauldron is bottomless! There are high-end second homes for those who buy the square footage, residential nets to develop them and a web series with the set-ups from A to Z that feeds the M Resort & Spa , a concept for cottage customers who want services included. The M Legacy on the water is coming, and others surely soon…

Passion for entrepreneurship

However, this owner who can boast of being at the head of all these companies is not very old: thirty-six years old, a bit young! That said, the slope has been steep, but when you are passionate, the road to success is lit with a hundred watts. "Life is an opportunity to be seized."

Maxime started out very young. His father Normand got involved as a co-borrower to buy his first piece of land. It quickly doubled in value. He sold it. Bought another one. Subdivided it. Made profits, which he constantly reinvested. Land development has been his main driving force for the past eight years, with a business partner for the past year. “We’re developing streets! We have tens of millions of square feet, we bought forty-five million in 2021 alone. We bring in electricity, we make subdivision plans, and we resell the projects.”

The rest is this perpetual bubbling of ideas, these projects that are born one after the other. "I can say that I have the happiness of living from my passions: nature, the outdoors, relaxation and great comfort. I make it my business. My businesses monetize my passions.

In addition, I love being surrounded, and giving people unique experiences. Everyone is in a good mood and wants to have fun . It's a great clientele and a great work atmosphere. Going to visit paddleboarding sites along the water (hence the Supday company), why not ? It's part of the customer experience that I offer! What motivates me is well-being and the art of living, sharing my buzz , my lifestyle . Maxime the tripper also calls himself a "creator of memories", a label that suits him perfectly.

Tailor-made, for all tastes!

In his spare time, if there is any, the father and serial entrepreneur is also a speaker and trainer: he accompanies other entrepreneurs like him, on the road to success. He is the author of the book " My 6 principles for a tailor-made life ", and director of the web series " Our tailor-made house : from the development of a plot of land to the finishing of a house" - which obviously serve his other businesses.

Custom-made… the word is used in all sauces in the M business (M like Maxime, his girlfriend Marie-Pascale, and his children Maxence and Marguerite). Indeed, personalized has become the brand signature. “At the M Resort & Spa , and soon on the M Legacy, we offer private stays à la carte with all sorts of options. “I wanted to create an extraordinary B&B, a heavenly site in Quebec, like a formula in the South, where people can have everything they want: a custom five-course dinner or everything to cook for themselves, yoga classes, massages, the spa, the sauna, a private band for groups, a harpist for lovers, fireworks or a fire-eater, name it !”

The latest, UFloat Nets , inspired by his love of the outdoors and sailing, is everywhere, a nice architectural detail integrated into the chalets, the resort and the web series. There can be nets everywhere: a net dock above a fast-flowing river, in a mezzanine indoors, as a suspended play area in the children's room or as an aerial bed platform. "With lots of cushions to chill alone or with others, that's really the vacation vibe !" Unique to Quebec and manufactured locally, individuals but also companies everywhere are snapping them up for festivals, recreation centres and even as relaxation areas for employees... Not a bad idea for staff retention!
