They must have the ability to manage change as well as resistance within a team. More than ever, employees are choosing their employer based on the captain, the values and the vision of the organization. A good captain must know how to navigate not only calm waters, but also troubled waters.


The captain must be able to navigate even in the storm. This is the ability that employees are looking for in addition to knowledge of the market (of the game as the sportsmen would say).


But how to be a good influential leader?


First of all, it is unthinkable to do everything alone. You must surround yourself with a good team and know how to communicate effectively. You must be able to express yourself well verbally and in writing, regardless of the language. The choice of words is important. You must also choose catchy and inspiring words while giving an accurate picture of the situation. Of course, you must accomplish what you say. In other words, the boots follow the lips!



Above all, we want leaders who have the ability to manage their emotions well, especially in turbulent times. This self-control in the face of challenges is necessary to make the right decisions.


This refers to the fact that a leader has good emotional intelligence to guide the troops, no matter the situation.


Employees must perceive that you are capable of having emotions. Have the courage to make the decisions (managerial courage) that are necessary to carry out your mission. This implies reviewing your strategies.
