You've activated your out-of-office message, delegated your tasks that could be delegated, briefed your entire team, processed absolutely all emails in order to give your inbox a makeover, now clean and well-labeled, and even tidied up your desk a bit. No need to feel guilty: enjoy your vacation!

1. SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SLOW DOWN: EVERYONE IS OFF !

Don't worry about being overtaken by your competitors. Customers and suppliers in your field of activity are also on vacation. There is a slow period which is a natural cycle in every sector.

2. GIVE YOUR EMPLOYEES SOME SLEEP! IT'S A GUARANTEE OF TRUST.

Taking time off without holding the reins too tight shows that you have enough confidence and recognition for their ability to manage their own tasks as well as any incidents. It is also a way to empower your teams. Having autonomous employees is a sign of managerial maturity. Evaluate your ability to let go and delegate.

3. TELEWORKING, YES, BUT NOT ON HOLIDAY: LEARN TO PULL THE PLUG!

If not knowing what's going on is too stressful, set aside a designated time for emails and other emergencies. However, you'll need to plan the rest of the day in total disconnection mode!

4. BET ON COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE

Rest assured: your employees know how it works. They know the inner workings and the organization chart of the company like the back of their hand, and they are there every day of the year! It is sometimes even an opportunity to test the employees to whom you were thinking of entrusting new tasks.

5. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS TO SEE BETTER, WITH A CLEAR HEAD: RETHINK YOUR STRATEGY, YOUR NEEDS, YOUR DIRECTION, YOUR DESIRES.

In short, it's about taking stock, with a lighter load and a mind that's a little less churning. Since the brain can't stop thinking, the hamsters keep turning, but there are fewer disturbances, take advantage of it to put the focus back in the right place.

6. IT CAN BE A TIME FOR POSITIVE REVIEWS TOO.

To realize your accomplishments and strengthen your self-esteem

7. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

Fatigue and a sustained pace for too long are a risk for burnout. Rest, get enough restorative sleep, breathe, meditate. Physical health and mental health go hand in hand. The goal is to realign yourself towards a healthy balance.

8. MOVE!

Once the restorative rest is over, it is good to shake yourself off to release pressure, evacuate tension and re-energize yourself .

Outdoors galore and sweat desired!

9. IDEAS WILL POP!

Let them come, feed yourself with something else. Seeing what is being done elsewhere can be inspiring. Stress hinders innovation and productivity. Creativity naturally reappears when you are more rested.

10. STAYING REACHABLE FOR A SERIOUS PROBLEM MAKES SENSE

…but there will be no loss of life if you deal with a task that only you can do only at the start of the school year.
